American-Scandinavian Foundation of Los Angeles (ASFLA) is an all-volunteer not-for-profit cultural and educational organization with an international spirit founded in 1939. It is dedicated to friendship and exchange between the five Scandinavian countries and the U.S., and promotes ethnic heritage as a celebration of diversity. Proceeds from all ASFLA activities and events endow a scholarship program for upper-division and graduate students at LA-area colleges and universities.
